WEAVING WORKSHOP
On display is the Weaving workshop, with a bulky Cypriot loom taking centre stage. So grand in scale, it's hard to imagine that many everyday Cypriot homes once possessed such looms.

During Venetian and Lusignan period Cypriot woollen fabrics were in very high demand and were exported in large quantities to Europe. The woven gold and silk cloth for ecclesiastical use greatly impressed the Crusaders who introduced it to the West.


ICONOGRAPHY WOODSCULPTURE WORKSHOP
The iconography workshop provides studies of various techniques with Byzantine influence on display.

Guests can use it for practicing its own skills.
